Iranian musician, singer, and composer hailed internationally as the "Godfather of Iranian Psychedelic Rock". In the early 1970s, Yaghmaei pioneered an intoxicating fusion of traditional Persian modal melodies (Dastgah) with Western garage rock, fuzz guitar, and Moog synthesizers, immortalized in his legendary hit "Gole Yakh" (Ice Flower).
