Izabel Goulart

Maria Izabel Goulart Dourado was born on October 23, 1984, in São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil, into a large family of Italian and Portuguese descent. Discovered while shopping for groceries in São Paulo at age fourteen, Goulart quickly relocated to Paris and New York, establishing herself as an elite runway powerhouse with her statuesque height, athletic grace, and signature runway walk.

In 2005, Goulart was appointed an official Victoria's Secret Angel, walking consecutively in fourteen Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows from 2005 through 2016. Concurrently, she became a muse for luxury haute couture giants, gracing the covers of international editions of *Vogue*, *Harper's Bazaar*, and *Elle*, while starring in major advertising campaigns for Armani Exchange, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, and H&M.

Beyond the fashion runway, Goulart is an avid philanthropist. Inspired by her younger brother’s diagnosis with Type 1 diabetes, she has served as an international ambassador for the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) in Miami, raising millions of dollars for stem cell research and free insulin access for underprivileged children in Brazil.
